Registry participants are asked to provide a blood sample to bank with PNRR and undergo a standardized neuropathy examination by a peripheral neuropathy specialist. This examination measures muscle tone, reflexes, and nerve function. All participants complete a Patient History Questionnaire, which asks questions about the participant’s symptoms and medical history. Participants may also be asked to undergo electromyography (EMG)/nerve conduction studies and provide a blood sample for additional laboratory testing.
If you choose to participate, your blood sample and clinical data will be de-identified at the clinic site, and no identifiable information will be shared with the Registry or any researchers who may use your samples and data in the future.
If you have been diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy and are interested in participating in the PNRR, please contact the study site nearest you.
Unfortunately, assistance with travel expenses is not currently available for patients who do not live near a study site, but additional study sites are being added to the Registry. Please check back!
